120 Minute IPA (2017)

IPA - Imperial / Double

Clocking in at 15-20% ABV, 120 Minute IPA is continuously hopped with a copious amount of high-alpha American hops throughout the boil and whirlpool, and then dry-hopped with another pallet of hops. Unfiltered and abundently hoppy, it's the Holy Grail for hopheads! We brew 120 Minute IPA a few times a year, but it goes fast. If you find some grab a few bottles -- some to enjoy and some to age.

Really interested now that it’s been aged nearly 7 years: it seems to have the body of barleywine now, which isn’t surprising given its ABV. Still some hop character, but now at this point the beauty of this one is the mouthfeel and rich character.

Little night cap. Boozy, more like a barley wine at this point, but then again you’ll get that from 18%:)

"Ages Well." Actually yeah. Hoppy white wine notes. This is quite delicious.

This has aged really well. Probably the only IPA I'll ever rank this high.

I've never aged an ipa this long it's been fridged in the back corner for 7 years. Not surprisingly drinks like a barleywine, and it's delicious. 120 minute is great fresh, but I'm so glad I was able to hide this and have it now!

Wild how 7 years of aging this can change a beer, sweet and bold bite, clean as can be on the finish. Wow.

Seven years later, we finally did it! Delicious after fermenting across a variety of locations in Poughkeepsie. Very rich, boozy flavor - as Z points out, it’s so boozy you can barely taste the hops. Pretty incredible stoop beer.

Seven years old. So boozy and super sweet. Almost date-raisin like. Just like barley wine although it had a very mild hop aftertaste. HUGE thank you to Cade M. For this beer. Unbelievable. Easily one of, if not the best I’ve ever had.

4/5/2024. This beer has been aged for 8 years! Says "ages well" on the can and it is not joking - this fantastic brew has some of the most unique hoppy and caramel flavors ive ever tasted. Would rate higher if I wasn't a sucker for bourbon barrel aged

MAN! That still kicks. Like an American style barleywine. Much more drinkable than previous versions I’ve had. The 7yrs did some work, honestly could go another 2-3 w/o any concerns

Ok a seven year old keg and I can't resist...even if I should. I mean it isn't a bad beer, but it's a malty,.boozy, heavy pour.

As always a classic very hoppy beer. Bottled 4-7-17. Great color and taste. Love on tap fresh at the brewery, but this 7 years old beer doesn’t disappoint.
