120 Minute IPA (2014) Wargolet III
10 years ought to be enough, eh? And found a guy with a 2017! Had no idea these were 18%+. And definitely tasted like that... a hoppy strong ale/barleywine. Enjoyed it, actually.

Found a guy with a 2017 to drink next to my 2014. :-)

50 Degrees N - 4 Degrees E (2020) (Cognac) Wargolet III
Such a small amount changes the smell of the entire rest of your evening.

Thanks Brian S. for bringing it straight from the source!

Gueuze 100% Lambic Bio (2018) Wargolet III
Smooth. Refreshing. Sweet? Kind of doesn't seem like words that should apply to a lambic though?

I know this was potent because I only had one lambic yet it was clear the next day. Thanks Phil R.!

3yo birthday party... Valid excuse to drink before noon. Surprisingly chocolatey, rich, with a dash of blueberry. And it also might be because it's my first beer and at this party with low expectations.

KBS Spicy Chocolate (2023) Wargolet III
Should have been called "smokey chocolate" to be more accurate.

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2007) Wargolet III
DLD23 - well that's an interesting ancient tick.

Chocolate Cherry KBS Wargolet III
Better than expected. Maybe because the adjuncts are subtle but spot on. Chocolate appropriately stronger than the cherry.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2017) Wargolet III
Pretty much the same as I remember, though it was a bit of a disappointment then and thus even harder to compete today. Thanks David F. #shitshare

Faded from the blueberry bomb it was before. Some said the miracle berries made a blueberry muffin but it didn't help it enough for me. Thanks Kirk. #shitshare

French Toast Bastard (Barrel Aged Series 2022) Wargolet III
Tasty, but clearly extremely artificial. It lists both the maple and vanilla as extracts which is evident Even before knowing. Thanks Edwin G.

Cuvée de l’Espérance Wargolet III
Almost a little too smooth for a lambic. Peach, almost more sweet than sour or funk. Thanks Leo F.

I'm almost tempted to go to a 4.5, but that's being overly kind since it's KBS. But it's also not billed as a pastry stout, so the thinness is expected. Just tasty hazelnut in a very drinkable stout. Very pleased.

KBS Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa Wargolet III
The ultra thinness is getting a bit hard to forgive, especially since it's also 12%. But nice cinnamon. Thanks Chris K. !

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2020) Wargolet III
Better than expected. It's back! Not in-your-face, but balanced maple+coffee+barrel. Thanks Grant!

Black Is Beautiful Wargolet III
Peanut butter is balanced well, but this is very dry for me, even despite the fudge.

Underground Mountain Brown Wargolet III
Very solid for a brown. The nitro makes it seem like coffee + cream. Sweeter than KBS. Light, ala brown.

Definitely raspberry jolly rancher with a hit of tequila, as described by the bouncer.

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2020) Wargolet III
Wow, more just in a surprising way. Pretty different this year... Thicker, smokey, bit dry, pretty good hit of coffee and bitter chocolate.

Not sure about "extremely hazy", but definitely juicy.

KBS Espresso (2020) Wargolet III
Everything I said for KBS 2020 with more coffee! Maybe slightly sweeter too.

The barrel works pretty well with this actually... And oaky syrupy sweet, almost like honey. And the dry hop keeps it bright and refreshing and more like a modern IPA. If there was a BA IPA category I might rate higher.

Fou' Foune (2019) Wargolet III
De Garde, West Ashley side by side... Agreed this is more "back of tongue".
