120 Minute IPA (2017)

IPA - Imperial / Double

Clocking in at 15-20% ABV, 120 Minute IPA is continuously hopped with a copious amount of high-alpha American hops throughout the boil and whirlpool, and then dry-hopped with another pallet of hops. Unfiltered and abundently hoppy, it's the Holy Grail for hopheads! We brew 120 Minute IPA a few times a year, but it goes fast. If you find some grab a few bottles -- some to enjoy and some to age.

Not so absolutely mind blowing as I once thought it, but still a great beer, and one that is going to put me right to sleep

Aged 3 years, not sure why I opened it other than nothing matters anymore.

Noticeable difference between the 16 and 17. But still good.

I have been aging this thing since 2017 waiting for a good reason to open it and today is the day.

11/16/17. From the cellar. Tons of sediment. Very boozy; almost overpowering. I think I let this age too long...and I think I’m saving one for next year too haha

Aroma of cigars and orange chicken. Maybe some brioche. Yeah I’ll stand my orange chicken brioche bun sandwich while smoking a cigar reference.

Seven years later, we finally did it! Delicious after fermenting across a variety of locations in Poughkeepsie. Very rich, boozy flavor - as Z points out, it’s so boozy you can barely taste the hops. Pretty incredible stoop beer.
