120 Minute IPA (2016)

IPA - Imperial / Double

Too extreme to be called beer? Brewed to a colossal 45-degree plato, boiled for a full 2 hours while being continuously hopped with high-alpha American hops, then dry-hopped daily in the fermenter for a month & aged for nother month on whole-leaf hops!!! Our 120 Minute I.P.A. is by far the biggest I.P.A. ever brewed! At 20% abv and 120 ibus you can see why we call this beer THE HOLY GRAIL for hopheads!

More of a barleywine than an ipa but for being 8 years old…tons of character and smooth as hell. As the label says, does age well!

If every American Barleywine was this good…wait, that’s no barleywine! Best 120 ever, and my last of that vintage 😎

Not sure what an unaged bottle should taste like, but this is strong and sweet. There is almost an apple taste to it.

Much more mellow thin like an ale not incredibly Barelywine like. Not thick or syrupy. Not much hop not on first taste. Delectable. 7/14/16 Bottle date

Floral, orange marmalade, honey, and baked bread follow through from the nose to the finish. Drinks as easy as an 8% ale, yet still has legs for days. This beer evolves and is a true shape shifter. Amazing stuff.
