Absolutely aged better than the 2021 I just compared it to.

Meant to have this in July but that's okay, this is still a banger for being a 2016

More of a barleywine than an ipa but for being 8 years old…tons of character and smooth as hell. As the label says, does age well!

If every American Barleywine was this good…wait, that’s no barleywine! Best 120 ever, and my last of that vintage 😎

After this many years in the basement it really drinks like a Belgian ale.

Not sure what an unaged bottle should taste like, but this is strong and sweet. There is almost an apple taste to it.

Bottled 7/14/2016. Outstanding. Hoppier than other ones I’ve had.

Holding up just fine. Could probably take another 5 years or more.

Much more mellow thin like an ale not incredibly Barelywine like. Not thick or syrupy. Not much hop not on first taste. Delectable. 7/14/16 Bottle date

Floral, orange marmalade, honey, and baked bread follow through from the nose to the finish. Drinks as easy as an 8% ale, yet still has legs for days. This beer evolves and is a true shape shifter. Amazing stuff.

Aged for 6 years in the back of the fridge…very smooth. Worth the wait.

There should be a candle called “Dogfish 120 aged 7 years”

Very good.. but the 2015 aged 8 years was better and smoother ... amazing

It’s a barley wine, with a hop vine in it. Hooo baby.

Teetering a 5 over here. 8 years later this thing is delicious. Slightly sweet, but packs a boozy punch

Not sure what made today special, but 8 yr-aged pour underway. Still have 1 bottle left. Maybe it'll make it to a decade old?

Closed on new house last Friday! Time to celebrate with an 8 year old 120 minute IPA bought during my first year in San Antonio.
