2018 and drinkin rilll nice. Has definitely mellowed out the booze with some age.

Aged 4 years. Boozy punch has mellowed. Strong raspberry aroma and forward flavor. Mild malty finish. Smooth, good sipping beer.

18% “ageable” Belgian ale conditioned on raspberry, blackberry, boysenberry, and elderberry. This is a tough hang.

The fruit flavor works to hide the 18% ABV, so this high gravity ale can be dangerous. It is good stuff though.

Bottled June 28, 2018. Thankfully has dried out. Not really beer, more like a dry melomel.

From the description I thought it would be more of a fruit wine, but it is definitely a strong ale with berry notes.
