Fruit-Full Fort

Strong Ale - Other

A twist on our beloved Fort, Fruit-Full Fort is brewed with four types of berries - raspberry, blackberry, boysenberry and elderberry. This juicy blend of dark berries creates depth and complexity reminiscent of a jammy red wine.

Very good brew. Super complex. Berry character is a bit more intense than the original soft raspberry version.

Its ‘berry’ strong 😉. Wins on uniqueness for sure.

Late checkin. More slurry than liquid, opaque, and very VERY fruity. Pushes the definition of beer a bit, but less than some fruited beers I've had. Still boozy and tasty.

Reminds me of attempts to make wine from fruit as a teen. Thanks for the nostalgia.

Very unique berry taste. Very full. Very nice. Got it from the f-it bucket from Jake’s and I’m now 2/2 on random beers.

Nice. Was not expecting it to taste like it was aged in bourbon barrels.

Mild dark sort of candied blueberry, blackberry, faint blueberry pie, subtle dark fruity chocolatey aroma with a warmth fruity like port wine, subtle blueberry covered in chocolate nose and a big warmth boatload of candied dark wild berry jam, malty taste

After sitting for 3yrs this beer is wonderful. Needs to warm up so the dark fruit / raisin comes out.

I'm down. At 3.5 yrs old the fruit notes were prune-y but still good dark berry flavor in there too and the alcohol was very smoothed out. And I'll see myself to bed now...

Drinks like an 18% fruit beer. And I REALLY miss getting DFH variety in NC. #bringbackpalosanto

A bit surprising when you don’t realize it’s an aged 18% beer because you just randomly picked it off the shelf as a single 😂

The fruit flavor works to hide the 18% ABV, so this high gravity ale can be dangerous. It is good stuff though.

From the description I thought it would be more of a fruit wine, but it is definitely a strong ale with berry notes.

Sweet. Just a little tart. Taste the berries and a hint of raisin. Really good. Can’t believe it is 18%
