2020 vintage (hoodwinked again). Most of the spices have faded but ginger is still strong with a bit of a spicy kick. Vanilla is still hanging on adding some sweetness (or is that oxidation?). Medium-full body; moderate CO2. Easy drinking for 8%.

Ya know my beer has turmeric in it. It’s a bold move dogfish. Big guy on the block still not afraid to get a little weird now and again. I don’t really like it, but damn do I respect it.

Strong aroma. Smells of cardamom, coriander, and wheat. Palate tastes of dried fruit, ginger and lots of spices. Reminiscent of banana bread or fruit cake. Smooth creamy finish.

Dark golden color all I can smell is a floral tone maybe cardamom with a light cinnamon. The Taste is almost the same as more cinnamon and vanilla notes

With everything going on in this beer (freaking tumeric and star anise in here), it's surprisingly meh. Tcm was unloading 6 packs for $3.99 so had to give it a try. love DFH's sense of adventure... But this was a miss
