From 1/15. I was promised obscene amounts of brown sugar and raisins. 😤 Totally got gypped. Did deliver on the promise of obscene amounts of malt though....

Rare, novel beer, but it was very strong alcohol and raison. Not my taste profile. Had both 2014 and 2018.

I don’t know what goes on in my head when I buy beer sometimes. The yeast gives this weird distinct sweetness. The back is so harshly boozy and then there is the raisin flavor. None of those flavors go together. That was just ruff!

Oh lord. 16.5%. This'll hurt tomorrow morning. Pretty alright otherwise, oatmeal raisin cookie smell and taste up front but finishes stongly tasting of alcohol.

The brown sugar fell off w age. Got booze and lite raisin flavors, banana? Remembered enjoying it fresh before.

Strong as heck. At 16.5% ABV this should be classified as a liqueur. Pungent raisin smell and flavor.

Aged this for 2 years it's getting a bit more mellow have another I'll age for 2 more and revisit it again

It’s very very strong, but it’s also really smooth. In comparison to other high ABV beers I’ve had it was very nice to drink because I didnt have that extra shot added flavor.

Very malty and heavy, more than I would like. The raison taste doesn't feel very present, but the brown sugar and body do. Feels a bit "much"
