Wow! Bottled 11/1/2019 so has a year age on it but still slightly hot. Not as solid as GI BCBS but very close. Plus the 18% let's you know it's 18%

Everything I look for when I only get one beer a night! 😂 Amazing taste, and in spite of the booziness, the 17% still sneaks up on you!

Thick and chewy, not as boozy as expected. Smooth, sipping beer with notes of dark chocolate and licorice. Very nice brew.

I usually like to age my special DFH brews, but this was bottled pre-pandemic on 11/1/19, and it is a perfect choice to put the past year behind me.

Taking time to relax and soak with a beer I’ve been watching anting too try. This is so good. The sweetness and wood flavors come right out. This is a laid back, mellow beer. Don’t get the booziness but I know it’s there
