KBS Spicy Chocolate (2023)

Birthday beer! Had a ton of steak, a pina colada, and now beer and gaming 😁 Standard KBS delish, with a bit of spice. Was hoping for more spice. Still good, but I’d still take a Clown Shoes beer over this if I wanted a spicy stout.

Más Agave Grapefruit

Man, I REALLY like this beer even tho it’s not what I normally drink. Im getting a sour citrus flavor. Heidi says juicy and tart. Grapefruit/citrus for sure. Maybe “juicy.” This is one I’d search out to have more of. Well done, Founders.

Chocolate Cherry KBS

Gotta be honest: I’m not really getting any cherry. Strong chocolate. MAYBE a slight cherry hint (if I think hard about cherry while sipping 😂). So basically not true to its name, but still rly tasty. I’ll re-review if other bottles taste different.

KBS Blueberry

*Disclaimer that I love blueberry and am biased* True to it’s name. A solid blueberry stout. Smooth blueberry chocolate. KBS never disappoints. I’m hoping for a cinnamon, spicy, extra bourbon, chocolate KBS in the future. C’mon Founders ❤️

Breakfast Stout

Truly the coffee lover’s beer. Still meaning to mix this with vanilla ice cream at some point to make a breakfast stout float. That would be glorious. And delicious.

Roasty coffee. Founders always makes a decent beer. Happy Spotify Wrapped day!

Dirty Bastard

Malty. Some sweetness. Pretty good for what it is. Haven’t really been drinking much lately (which has been good for my waist line). Happy Halloween! (My costume today was a flaming hot Cheeto 😂)

Backwoods Bastard

Malty I kinda miss Brockton; Felt good to be back there today, even if it was to visit my dad in the hospital.

Lizard of Koz

Sweet chocolate, vanilla, and blueberry mixed together. Yummy. My only minor complaint is that I wish there was more bourbon to it.

Frootwood (2017)

Love this beer ever since I found it in a markdown section one day. Now I have to buy it almost every time I see it 😂 I’m too much of a sucker for bourbon barrel aged beers. Founder’s is always great too. Cherry maple. My tongue is happy.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge (2022)

Chocolate maple. Little thinner/watery than I’d like but still really good.

Double Trouble

I confused this with the “Other Half” stout 😭😭😭 It doesn’t even say it’s an IPA on the packaging 😭 Hoppy. Some maltiness as well. How did I rate this higher in the past? 😭 I am very disappointed in myself.

Velvet Rush

SUPER coffee in smell. Very creamy. Coffee and vanilla flavors. Some bourbon that is overshadowed mostly by the coffee/vanilla.

KBS Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa

Spice is nice, but this has a strong, almost artificial cinnamon smell and taste. I could see it being too overpowering for some since it is very “in your face” in comparison to the vanilla and coffee. I used to eat cinnamon Tic-Tacs 24/7. Im biased.

World Wide Stout - Bourbon Barrel Aged

KBS Espresso

I’d like more bourbon and slightly less espresso, but it’s not bad. I still prefer the regular KBS and would like to see/taste a vanilla one.

Breakfast Stout

It’s a normal black coffee flavored stout 🤷🏻‍♂️. I feel like I’ve experienced too many other great beers to give this a super high rating. It’s pretty good for what it is. Founders is still a favorite brewery, but I def prefer their barrel-aged stuff.

Panther Cub (2021)

Solid. Founders is always quality.

Costumes And Karaoke

Reminds me more of chai tea than beer ( but I’m a fan of chai tea, so this is pretty good 😁)

Blushing Monk

This might be the first Founders beer that I’m not a fan of 😞 It’s great if u love raspberries or sour/tart.
