Pretty sweet. Very caramel forward. It’s quite nice, actually.

Literally barleywine now. Unbelievable how drinkable this still is

Honestly should’ve never hung onto this as long as I did. Past the point of no return. Is it drinkable? Surely. Pleasant? Mostly just a raisiny malt bomb. Found hanging out in the back of the cellar and figured “screw it.” Ah well, still fun.

The raisin/date sweetness balanced by the lingering hop bitterness.

How I'd like to start my birthday weekend. Bottled 02/06/2009. So I bought this directly from founder Sam Calagione's stash in 2021 at the brewpub in Rehoboth Beach. Rich and complex. Drinks almost barleywine in nature at this point.

From Saturday night. Sweet, a little boozy but really nice

Zero burn, very sweet. Thick mouth feel. A surprisingly dark color.

2nd best of the 4 year vertical. Smooth, complex, malty caramel with a hint of sherry notes.

Wish I had taken a better pic that showcased the color variation across the years.

Was an accidental open from family… so a good occasion to drink it! Had a lot of prune and dark boozy fruit. Almost all the hops has settled out. Happy birthday Dad!

Amazing. Held up so well. Lots of sherry but amazing. Thanks, Brad!

12 years old now. No less shocking what aging does to this stuff. Incredible.

Still have one left. Back in 2009, I bought a twelve-pack of four 60's, four 90's and four 120's. How could I not? It cost $50. Even then, 120's were $10 each.
