I get a slight juniper and a white tea finish, but this is really, really light.

It might be unproper. But it's unique for an IPA. Very toffee forward.

This is really unique. Caramel and toffee forward but an IPA. The English malt gives it a great character.

I'll let you in on a secret. Pekko, nectaron and azacca. That's what's on the bottom of the can. It's got a slight fruity element. Solid.

A Double Mosaic Daydream About Blueberry Cannibals Hull
A little reminder of Delaware still lingers. Actually from this stockpile, it's going to linger a long while.

There's a lovely hoppy and piney start. And then there's a weird aftertaste that I'm not sure what it is. That dissipates a little as I work my way down.

There's a sort of strange carbonation burst. But it's not unpleasant. It's definitely something different for me. I might be a Marylander but I wasn't exactly pounding Colt 45s.

A Double Mosaic Daydream About Blueberry Cannibals Hull
More bitter than a traditional hazy, which feels like the Dogfish Head coming through. Hoppy, a bit floral. The blueberry is more in color with a slight additional tartness.

The Steady Glow Of Tended Embers Hull
Note for anyone headed to Dogfish Head. The Milton brewery exclusives are growler only.I'm really glad I went to the Rehoboth Beach EmPOURium because my Delaware beer trip wouldn't have provided much. Malty and smoky. Not spicy.

Well balanced and hoppy. You do get the underlying orange marmalade element as well.

The Perfect Pairing Pale Ale Hull
It's a wild and strange one. Made to pair with sharp cheddar and a collaboration of sorts with Cabot cheese, there's a cheesy element to this. It's inoffensive for all of that.

A nice underlying spice with the berries. Reads a little like a gose.

Science misses a little here for me. What it loses in the malt causes it to lose more of the West Coast element I've come to love.

Leans to the smooth with a creaminess. The hops aren't as forward in this one.

Light but clean and very drinkable. This is setting up to be an awesome brewery experience.

On cask. A local exclusive. It's interesting to have this warm. For IPAs, I'm with Sam.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2017) Hull
The richness and sweetness is still there. The chocolate is still here, the coffee has dissipated. Smooth and beautiful.

French Toast Bastard 2023 Hull
It's a barrel aged kind of day. 10 percent Tuesday, am I right? Sitting on this a few months has mellowed a little of the booziness. The vanilla is not as strong but the maple very much is.

More balanced than a lot of the barrel aged stuff I've had from Founders lately. The fruitiness really carries through in the finish.

Ginger, Spice, Barreled And Nice Hull
This is definitely not for those who don't like spice. Smells like a ginger snap. Very heavy on the ginger and clove. Boozy.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2019) Hull
With today's announcement that it's returning, I don't need to be so protective of these anymore.

French Toast Bastard 2023 Hull
It's definitely boozy, but you get the maple, cinnamon and vanilla at all different intervals. It almost gets a little too boozy though, I think.

It is 10 percent Tuesday, isn't it? We're keeping it real potent here tonight.

A Troegs and Founders day? They should all be like this.

It really does give you a sweetness and fruitiness. Great Summer beer.

How I'd like to start my birthday weekend. Bottled 02/06/2009. So I bought this directly from founder Sam Calagione's stash in 2021 at the brewpub in Rehoboth Beach. Rich and complex. Drinks almost barleywine in nature at this point.

Very strong, but less flavorful than I remember. I thought this might age well.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2019) Hull
I found this tucked away not all that long ago in a beer distributor in Montgomery County. The chocolate has remained very strong as it's aged. The barrel aging has dissipated a little, and its much more chocolate forward now.

It's the closest I've had to Curmudgeon's Better Half. It's incredible.

French Toast Bastard (Barrel Aged Series 2022) Hull
This is why I will always love Founders. Beer for people like me.

It's almost the perfect embodiment of a drinkable alcoholic mango habanero sauce. The smell is a little off putting, but it's better than an aromatic tasteless beer. You can get those.

Less medicinal when colder. Also better from the bottle than in a glass. While barrel aged, that was my mistake to treat it more like a stout or old ale.

Weaker than most Founders barrel aged beers. Also, the cherry leans a little medicinal.

Bottle Shop Series Highball Drifter Hull
It reminds me of an old fashioned with a barrel aged beer. I do get the hints of cherry and orange peel.

Very solid. Great chocolate and vanilla lactose notes. Gets even better as it warms.
Lovely cherry notes and you can really pick up on the red wine barrels it aged in. Very unique.

A blonde with great wild sour depth. A real delight. From the mothership in Delaware!

I like the woodsy elements from the pine. Nice body and hop profile.

Another Miami Dogfish beer made it up here. This is the best of them I've ordered thus far.

This is a brewpub exclusive, and it's really nice. Dogfish Head does better aging than anyone.

Barrel Aged Founders, you complete me. This is fantastic. I'm a hard grader. Not tonight.

Not as much depth of flavor as I'd expect from Dogfish Head.
