Utopias Barrel-Aged 120 Minute IPA

Wow. Slightly tempting to give it a five. Incredibly rich. Deep delicious flavor. The hop and malt melts together. Sweet, caramel, and a slight hint of baking spice.

As a fan of 120 this is still pretty great. I would say minimal barrel notes, but different enough. Def packs a punch.

Obviously hot at 17%, yet still smoother than expected. Definitely need to buy some to put in the cellar.

Vanilla, oak, dried fruit, berry jam, molasses, bourbon, caramel, and toffee are all present here in a crazy/boozy/sweet experience that somehow totally works. Not what I typically drink, but a true masterpiece that pushes the limits on what beer can be.

Bottle from the Packie. Brilliantly clear deep copper with a bubbly off white head that persists. Rich fruity port notes with a sweet sticky bready caramel maltiness. Clear alcohol notes on the nose but not as evident in the flavor. Great sipper, but I'm

Wow! Regular DFH 120 is fantastic. This is off the charts great. The barrel just makes this an unbelievably epic beer . Best DFH beer ever🍻 /how did I review this beer before super beer influencer sweet Kathleen of Delaware 🤷🏼

What a find in Costcos. Dogfish 120 aged in Utopias barrels. Yes, please! Strong boozy taste yet a great aroma. Top notch brew

Boozy, syrupy, rich raisin flavor, some hoppy bitter underneath but drinks a lot like a barleywine tbh

Smells like dark fruits soaked in brandy. Tastes rich and sweet and boozy. Dangerously smooth and easy to drink at seventeen fucking percent. One of the best beers I've had all year.

Honestly reminds me more of Raison d'Extra than regular 120 with all the dark fruit and candy notes. That's not a bad thing at all for me though.

Love the Dogfish Head 120 so I had to try this one. Very good. Smooth for 17% ABV.

I saw the high rating and got exited but… maybe it’s just me but I can’t get behind the flavor profile of this. It’s thin and as silly as it may sound, it has a “cider” consistency and taste profile that turns me off.

This is interesting! I think the dry hop after the 12 months in the barrel help it out not to be straight barley wine. 17%👀 FUN!! 4.56789?

Boozy and hoppy. And you definitely know it's barrel age as well with it's strong taste.
