For the age, this still maintains some of the original character that drew me to this beer. My first DFH. Paired with fiery Sammys wings and da Bungles.

Still kickin, malt, caramel, not peaty or botanical, no maple either, just a strong ale with dried character and age

Slightly smoked from the oak. Big maple and vanilla flava. An '07 and you'd think it was brewed yesterday!
