Simple clean light lager, any pickle flavor is lost on me, not bad though

Hazy with rose petals, nose is crazy, huge ruby grapefruit and rose petal, spicy, palate is medium to full and very hazy, a touch sweet, tastes like Simcoe, tropical and juicy, lovely

This beer when aged is always delicious, I’d guess 9% not 18

Ridiculous beer, honey, malt, off dry, and the nose of a cave aged Tomme cheese, odd but excellent execution

Draft pour, musty old smell with hops underneath, went away on the palate, monster beer and I love the old 120s

Wood-Aged Bitches Brew (2018) Prager
Nice strong dark roast and still alive, a hint of acidity I didn’t expect, don’t get much honey, I’d drink what you’ve got now

New label 750ml, still plenty of funk but a wonderful sharp lime zest acidity jumps out

Aged honey notes, subtle apple, subtle malt, wouldn’t know it’s this old, could go much longer

Very light and lean, no funk, don’t quite get rhubarb but it’s plenty tart, I’d say it didn’t meet expectations but still tasty

Revisiting the 19 after a while, murky copper pour, nice beige foam, nose showing loads of malt and wood mixed with a little orange marmalade and hops, heavy body, rich and dense, tasting more oak and orange and malt, peach, creamy, off dry, not bitter

Fresh can, floral, spicy, yeasty, coriander, dried herb, subtle honey, subtle raw grain, palate is a little rich at first with a crisp note but then wham it’s deep, honey packed, lightly sweet, slightly cloying, warming alcohol, honey all over, grape

Very dark murky brownish reddish orange, really great nose, smells like an aged barleywine, malty, deep caramel, toasty, nutty, figgy, palate is rich, this amount of time turned it past aged and into tart, lightly tannic, lightly bitter, age about 3-8yrs
over 2 years ago
Total winner for me, tastes like a blondie, light caramel and malt, Wheatwine or blonde barleywine-ish, dry yet rich, aged so well
over 2 years ago
Still kickin, malt, caramel, not peaty or botanical, no maple either, just a strong ale with dried character and age

2019 bottle. Malt, spice, red fruit, English hops on the nose, palate is rich, dry, grassy hops, malty and caramelly, learning more about this Burton style gave new perspective when tasting, really like the bitter and malty balance

Head fades a bit too quick, nose of a standard rice lager plus a touch of golden malt, palate is super light and crisp, the fruit and other stuff adds a fruity semi sweetness but it finishes dry, good with Asian food

Rye Barrel-Aged 120 Minute IPA (2020) Prager
Monstrous candied brown sugar malt nose, big big fig and malt palate, only a little sweet, tasting the 16%, drying finish, yeah that’s a 120, grading as if it was aged further to mellow the booze

Nelson Sauvignon / Sauvin Brut Prager
Very fun beer right away from the sight and smell, pours like an ASBC with lower carb, nose is vinous, buttery, oak and funk, a decent amount of malt too, palate is lightly silky, lightly bitter, herbal, no sourness , soft, light malt and apple, different
