ages well, they say. i suppose so. still good, for sure. more of a sweet barleywine than an IPA after 2 years, but a really nice beer.

Aged 2.5 years mellows the flavor brings an odd banana finish.

Big American barleywine bomb. Caramel. Earthy hops. That is a big boy. Figgy.

This beer does age amazingly well. Turns into a great Barleywine.

A treat to have this again. Massive booze. Strong smooth and rich malt. Bitterness is still there and it tastes like apricot and marmalade. It’s got big booze but it still hides the 18 abv so well. Definitely Bareley Wine like.
