Banger. For how young this beer is... it's really smooth. Great stout! Probably gonna be even better as it warms up. HAIL TO THE VICTORS 〽️ Go Niners Thanks D L.

Super boozy up front but it mellows as it warms. You’ve definitely got to take this one slow but it’s pretty great.

Had this on Thanksgiving and it was spectacular - as expected. I'd love to get a four-pack and cellar it for a few years, I think this will age well.

Now this is a complex brew. Strong chocolate and roast coffee. Deep and subtle notes of vinous fruits and wood. Smooth. Slight alcohol warming, though not as much as expected given the astronomical ABV.

Heat from the barrel dominates. Almost has a Barleywine finish. With a thicker body, this would be a banger. Still good though.

This was a delicious weirdo. It tasted very much like a wine-aged stout, which, I guess it kind of is (Utopias being more like a port, etc than a beer). The barrel came through well, and the richness of the beer made it feel special.

Way better than the reg. The booze pops as usual. But this version is much more unique and complex on the nose and taste.

Untappd says 17.3%. It surely doesn’t taste it if that’s accurate. Pours thin, aroma is restrained. You can taste some intensity from the barrel and all manner of vanilla butterscotch flavors.

WWS on it's own is exceptional. The Utopias barrel aging adds a unique touch. Very nice. If you have the means, i highly recommend picking some up.

Do yourself a favour and cellar one of these. This is knock your running shoes off good. No head.big and boozy up front. Chocolate, malt, fruits, caramel, vanilla- each sip- and you want to take you time - reveals new possibilities.

Toasty, malty, and boozy with a good balance of chocolate, vanilla, and caramel. Hint of charred oak with a boozy burn and slightly drying finish. Delicious. Need to find more.
