Not one of the best variants, but it is WWS, so yum. Tons of thick coffee flavors.

Perhaps my favorite dark. Coffee notes, Carmel notes, and Malty everything I want in a dark beer.

$8.99/12oz, label says 15.3% abv. Started a bit of a mess but comes together as it warms. Booze is hidden for the most part.

Something overly sharp, bordering on unpleasant on the back palette/aftertaste. Overly sweet.

Got a bold flavor but is nowhere as heavy as one would predict for a 17% stout. It definitely has a bite to it but it doesn’t detract from the overall taste.

This is a boozier version of the CBS stout by Founders. Very good and incredibly smooth at over 15% abv.

Finally a coffee maple stout that isn't cloying, dry like a traditional RIS, and masks the 17% ABV like a 9% stout. Well crafted.

OMG this is good. Reminds me of Brash’s Vulgar Display of Power. Can’t tell it’s a 17% beer at all.
