I might need to try this one again. I'm not sure how I feel about it. It has all the notes of a red ale, but with a slightly sour or citrus finish. I was drinking it with food and I think I need a clean pour.

This beer color-wise was my best pairing for this glass and the show.

It’s not bad, but for something from two great breweries I was hoping to like it even better!

Tart red ale with a complex flavor profile - cherries, caramel, plums citrus among others. Tasty.

Ugh. An unappealing sour concoction of twangy red fruit, cherry and citrus. Definitely not my gig.

Sour reds are definitely unique! This one moderately tart at first, but as palate adjusted, it mellowed significantly. Still bright, with citrus & cherry, & slight herbal or floral note, w/o being medicinal. Easy drinking, with a hint of tannin & barrel.

Rodenbach Grand Cru is of my all time faves. This is a watered down version that is a bit of a tease! Still gives a smack of the sour cherry but fades into a sumac spiced red. Worth a shot.

An interesting take on a red ale. Obvious notes of grapefruit but not overpowering. Solid seasonal.
