Deep and dark copper red. Nose of candied cherries, citrus aroma, toffee, with a caramel from wooden oak. Atlantic sea salt. Tastes of malts and peppery woods. Plums and dark cherries. Toffee, vanilla. Finishes sweet malts, oak barrels, and booze. Lovely.

Beer #3,333 normally would be the kind of number to get a live check in. However im doing a bl instead because well it’s early in the month and I have special enough beers to make it worth it. From all the back last February. This

Yeah, don’t know what else I would have expected but this.

Pool day. Nothing to do but sit and drink. This is a Flanders Red Ale. I get some malt sweetness, hop bitterness and tartness, which makes me think cherry or cranberry. Not sure how true to the style, but a flavorful beer. Drinkable for 7%. #drinklocal

Not your typical Red Ale... Very notable with a flavor that reminds you of Belgium Style beers while having the presence of cherry, candied citrus, toffee, and malt. Nice work Dogfish Head! 👌

Unbalanced and slightly sour compared to my perfect definition of the style. #Disappointed only because I respect DFH so damnnn much!

Very cranberry. Not enough malt to cut the astringent sour.
