I think they could classify this better because red ale is something entirely different in the US. I'd put this in the Flemish ale category because it is tart and somewhat fruity--and not a red ale I would normally drink.

There’s a weird mint flavor

Really thought I'd like this more, based on the description! 😀 But it's akin to a toned-down limbic to me. Balanced, initially a touch sweet before turning down the path to tartness, then stopping just short. 😜

This is odd, it starts like a red ale, and then quickly gets a taste that reminds me of both a barrel aged strong beer and a beer that's really old.

It's ok. Like the malty character, but it's sweet and boozy for a 7.1

Tastes nothing like a red ale, more like a sour

Kinda dirty tasting, too much hardy fruit, the cherry and grapefruit flavor combo is just not for me, and being a red ale.

I didn’t like it as much as I thought I would. Maybe my least favorite red ale. I like Double Groove’s red ale better.

This tastes like someone put a cough drop in my beer and let it melt. Terrible.

A strange combo. Kinda honey lemon (or I guess cherry grapefruit peel given the flavor notes in Untapped) with a butyric finish. Nope.

One part Rodenbach, three parts Rolling Rock. Like Pat Boone covering Little Richard.
