Biere De Coupage: Le Vigneron

Farmhouse Ale - Bière de Coupage

Something old. Something new. This rustic farmhouse ale is the amalgam of a Chardonnay-infused beer-wine hybrid aged in French oak puncheons for one year blended with 3-year-old, Chardonnay-barrel-aged, mixed culture golden ale. Complex aromas of grape, boysenberry and oak give way to a palate of light tannins, tart white grape and peaches with a long, dry finish.

Really great if you like a lot of white whine notes in your saison. It’s an experiment, and I imagine it’ll be very successfully

Outstanding. Big Chardonnay nose, really get the tart French oak flavors. Light, smooth, tart, peach and berry flavors.

Great but does not agree with the heartburn. Don't get old kids.

Oaky, heavy-bodied. Mouth-watering, lightly vinegary note. Citrus and apricot. Somewhat yeasty. Might feel acidic in larger quantities.
