December share. There are many aged treasures at Spec's in New Braunfels at their original cost, like this from 2013 just waiting to go home with someone. Just waiting there year after year. Funky Belgian gold, cellared at yesterday's price.

Aroma of cellar, with clearly evident citric and lactic notes and a pleasant background of must, sulfur and mold. Very carbonated, in the mouth it maintains a good sweetness (white grape, cider) that balances the acidity. Fantastic finish, dry and sour

Crack open a birthday beer. Good but the tart sourness has faded - like a good saison now (I expect others to say this is really sour!) Would have liked more body.
