Attractive ruby tones. Lots of fruit in the nose. Mildly tart and fruity. A little too sweet, lacking complexity for my taste.

Raspberry laces tossed liberally over a thin layer of air dried raspberry pulp with the pips still present on the nose; taste is odd & rather artificial, cherry essence & blue raspberry slush puppy, but there is a fleeting tanninic musty oak barrel twang.

Zeer zoet, dterke fruitsmaak. Zurige niet in balans met het zoete, zou wat meer mogen compenseren.

Brouwerij Boon, Belgien. Fruchtlambiek mit Himbeeren. 5,0%. Intensive Himbeernoten, ganz tolle und sehr gut eingebundene Säure, vermischt sich mit einer leichten Süße, verabschiedet sich trocken.

Nice combination of flavours in this Belgian beer, a solid lambic that doesn't break the bank. Probably still prefer the kriek but this drinks well.
