Complex van smaak. Iedere slok veranderd meerdere keren van smaak. Weet niet goed of ik het lekker vindt of niet.

Brewed in Nov 15 and bottled in May 20. I think this Geuze is passed its prime (enjoyed Aug 21). Still drinkable, but the flavour profile leaves me making a bitter frown rather than my customary geuze smile. I love trying something different though.

Zachte licht zure Geuze. Zoete toetsen van perzik.

Dry old lambic funk (4.5 years op foeder), surprising amount of carb at first but then feeling the light body, decent alcohol warming and light apricot retronasal (no citrus / apple ) , wooden / barrel character is soo present

So mellow and pleasant that hurts. Oaky and yeasty character are on the forefront, but there's an additional soft nutty character (almonds or walnuts) that complement the peach/apricot notes and makes those flavors dance beautifully all over your tongue.
