Stunning! Intense blackcurrent, so a little crisp tartness on a soft honey sweet basis. Not sweet, and a pleasure to drink on this sunny day. (It reminds me of a beautiful “creme de cassis” from an old lady in the Cote d’Or)

Double fruited Melomel with Blackcurrant as an amplified version of our 2019 July's melomel, Svart. Insanely sharp fruit. Boozy. Aniseed somewhere. Unusual, as Mead Scientist do.

Super black curranty so very sharp tasting. It’s sweet but the tartness cuts through it well. It’s surprisingly heavy though. It’s like a dessert

Ikke meget sødme i denne mjød. Til gengæld er der masser af solbær og høj syrlighed. Bliver noget tør undervejs og er lidt for sur til mig, men stadig helt klart et interessant bekendtskab.
