Hydroglyph Madsen

Obvious not fresh - canned yesterday tsk tsk!! 😀 Even more obvious it’s a rye IPA. Dry rye bread taste - not a lot fruit.

Ekstremt Luxusøl Madsen

Interesting style - at least an IPA of it’s own. Very sweet malty and limited hoppy. But I kinda like it

Cybeer Madsen

Normally not my style at all, but In a 1:2 blend between cider and beer, it nice. Great sour apple with an almost Saison yeasty nose. Dry refreshing apple taste with a hoppy flavour on the side. Nice sumner drink

Straight forward D&B IPA fruity nose - nice. Ok fruit taste but there is not much taste in general. Weak body as well

Yellow Hex Madsen

Crisp and very thin lager. Quite malty, but muss to sweetness to become a very nice German style lager.

Blåbær Lambik (Blueberry Lambic) (2021) Madsen

Very much oak and associations to red wine - and some Blueberry nose - with a clear indication of being sour. Taste is obviously sour - but more tart than sour. Still lots of oak and some Blueberry. Will never be my style but not that bad after all!!

Hibernator Madsen

Well, this is hard to describe!! Pilsner nose with a weak dry touch. Taste is more like a brown at first. Remaining quite boring

Joker & the Thief 2022 Madsen

Sweet - fruity - Barley Wine nose - very nice indeed. Taste wise I get more BW than stout. Very smooth and friendly - non-high-ABV mouthfeel, still fitting more into the BW spectra than into the Stout spectra. Like it very much

Chaos Equilibrium Madsen

Slightly roasted and with a typical apple “sour”feeling from whiskey in nose. Taste is roasted with a little smokey touch at the back. Thin mouthfeel. I do not get any real BA feeling here at all. Warming!

Florescent Madsen

Smells and tastes very fresh. Crisp and well carbonated increases feeling Of freshness. Fruity and good hop bitterness. Feels more like a IPA than a DIPA. Nice

George Bourbon BA Madsen

Oh yes, besides a generally weak BA nose, tastebuds are met with a pleasant bitter boozy taste. A touch too thin in mouthfeel but quite nice taste

Hop Men's IPA Madsen

Very anonymous nose is followed up by an old classic malt bitter IPA. It’s surely not anywhere new a modern IPA, which I guess Åben wants to create by the look. Bad try, sorry

Whisky & Rye Madsen

PapaV :- “Exactly the beer that dragged my in here today”! And for me too Mr. Grant, it is a bit too smokey for me. Fortunately, there is a good amount of sweetness phasing out the smoke, giving it a very OK taste. Button line, I guess I’ll be➡️

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2018) Madsen

Just rounding the day up🤣👍 Surprisingly weak nose - just a bit roasted character - whereas taste is just great. Chocolate, sweet bourbon

Intension Madsen

Colab with Copenhagen Mead. According to Kasper they used caramelised honey. No direct signs of honey here - but very sweet without falling over the cliff. Like it👍

Fairly anonymous nose. Slight fruity mixed in between style sheet. WC, well not really - EC, well not really. Boring, yes really…

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) Madsen

I was actually a bit surprised by this edition. Less sweet and delicious as normally seen with the CBS.

KNUD (the Kromutter) Madsen

Odense Beer Tour - Editionn2! New England Pilsner IMO. Fresh, no doubt, and very crisp, bit not sufficient flavour, body and deapth to be a IPA, and with the obvious pilsner taste.

Promising Leads Madsen

Pomegranate sour-iss nose gives it a very fresh dry feeling. Taste is also very dry and bitter. As far from Finback, in my head, as it could be. Still a nice sweet touch in the aftertaste. But I miss more body and back bone in a DIPA

Dank and grapefruit nose. Good bodied semi sweet fresh mouthfeel. Miss more flavours in such a. Ost - bit not bad at all

Great sweet tropical nose. Same goes for taste. I really love it - telling PapaV this is the best Dry & Bitter ever had. Full body, sweet and bitter - lovely

Random Task Madsen

Thanks PapaV Colab with Spybrew - this the Dry & Bitter version. Lovely aroma confirms the DDH. Taste is fine - fruity and very smooth. Grapefruit bitterness. Missing some flavours though. Looking forward to try the Spybrew edition.

Crushed cherry stones in nose - sort of sweet touch. Taste is tart; dry, cherries and salty. Too anonymous for my liking

Fresh and refreshing - of course very thin. High carbonation feel gives a long lasting crisp feeling

Video Nasty Madsen

Canned back in late Oct. ‘20!!! Anyways, deep bread and Tangerine nose. Semi-sweet malty taste with a dry sour touch. Bitterness is significant - but not a very plesant one.

Absolutely and no doubt - it’s Nelson in his usual Kiwi and lemon disguise - “found you, love!!”. Silky smooth fruit mouthfeel with a balanced and dry bitterness

Versus: Hew Madsen

Canned 03/24/31 - Yesterday. Fresh, obviously😝 - but nose is not the indication for that - not much going on here. The freshness emerges in taste. Nice fruit, sweetness and smoothness. Good body

Sweet thick pineapple aroma. Dominant citrus taste at first - funny. Still pineapple backbone with a decent bitterness.

Black Sensation 2020 event. Mostly coffee Bin both nose and mouth. Bitter, dry and coffee. Quite thin and boring

The Glow Below Madsen

Whereas nose is “only” semi-fruity/semi-grassy, taste is much more vibrant hop fruity. Quit tropical start with a good tasty body and biting tail.

Barrel Aged X Imperial Stout Madsen

Sweet, sweet and sweet - and some plums and BA nose. BA on Black Spirits barrels, What the heck is that? Get some brandy or whiskey notes. Surely not bourbon. No surprise in taste - sweeet, plums, chocolate - and some booze not too much despite 18%.

Beer Geek Fudgesicle BA Bourbon Madsen

Sweet chocolate and caramel nose. Not really any Bourbon - unfortunately. Taste is quite identical. Sweet chocolate, a hint of bourbon and some bitterness and booze. Like the fact it’s a pastry stout without become overwhelming sweet.

Astral Sabbatical Madsen

Very fresh start with big nose of mango and kiwi. Canned 17. June - but as said very vibrant. Fairly dry, though still sweet, fruity mouthfeel. Miss some depth but otherwise fine
