Geuze Boon - 2yr Aged Edition Ratcliffe

I’m never sure about the concept of a Gueze on tap, but who am I to question Frank Boon. Never quite hitting the heights of a Hanssens but on an October evening in Telford it is very acceptable. Woody and grape flavours with the distinctive lambic nose.

Kriek Boon Ratcliffe

Frank Boon has revived lambiek based beers. Part of the deal has been that his beers tend to be too sweet, in order to aim at the mass market and the kriek is typical of this. His heart is in the right place and he deserves a bit of leeway in this.

Heated Seats Ratcliffe

Stone fruit tastes with a citrus mix. I am getting a salty element coming late which affects the overall taste. Pulpy.
