I’m never sure about the concept of a Gueze on tap, but who am I to question Frank Boon. Never quite hitting the heights of a Hanssens but on an October evening in Telford it is very acceptable. Woody and grape flavours with the distinctive lambic nose.

As the German beers have sold out due to an amazing Oktoberfest I’m moving on to a Belgian lambic

Really funky and pungent nose. Flavour is full on Brett and a hint of sharp dry white grape. The finish is really dry and crisp.

Smells like it’s been in the barrel for 2 years. Nothing special. Bit watery

More refined but it's a bold Brett at heart
