Found the remaining three of a four pack I bought five years ago in the basement. The label says “Ages Well”. I would agree.

Classic. Also one of the only craft beers available here.

Wake Up World Wide Stout (2022) Brandi

Doesnt hide the alcohol burn at all, which is not what I’ve gotten from previous exitions of WWS. Might be the coffee and maple syrup and cinnamon. Or that it’s relatively young. Warms up nicely with the maple syrup coming to the fore.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge Brandi

Not impressed with the regular stuff, but a friend from K’zoo suggested I give this variant a try. It’s better. Still a little thin for a stout, but doesn’t have the alcohol burn. I have three more and will certainly drink them.

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2019) Brandi

As someone accustomed to drinking Kane stouts, I have to say this is remarkably mediocre. I didn’t like it fresh because it was too hot. Three years on, some of the heat has dissipated, leaving something that just isn’t all that good. No there there.

Utopias Barrel - Aged World Wide Stout (2021) Brandi

Harsh until it warms, then smooooooth

KBS Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa (2021) Brandi

Mediocre. Doesn’t hide the alcohol at all. Was hoping for something better. Oddly for a stout, it gets worse as it warms.

Blue Hen Brandi

Lovely. Pity that it’s brewpub-only. Would be wonderful if they could scale it up.
