Sweet and boozy like a barleywine yet hoppy with a quick finish. Certainly an oddball but I'm feeling it.

Maple abundant in nose and vanilla sweet in sip. Barrel sweetness is present.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge Smiley

Reprise. Slight score downtick. Sip cruises with confectioner's chocolate, chunky fudge and brown sugar. No alcohol heat. Oaky sweet barrel ender notes are a treat. Halloween in a glass.

Underground Mountain Brown Smiley

2020 version. Lopsided brew with barrel  outweighing base brown ale by large margin. Barrel notes are a treat however: tasty, creamy, sweet vanilla. Not getting any coffee, even as glass warms.

Great amber breadiness here. Goes well with I'm Thinking of Ending Things on Netflix.
