Smooth, floral, and darn crushable. Screams to be drank in the summer rather than the polar vortex.

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2019) Kryza

2019 vintage. Found on the back shelf. A big ol’ bourbon barrel stout with some nice smokiness on the back end. Can definitely tell how aging effected the brew. Excellent, and I expect nothing else from Founders.

Utopias Barrel - Aged World Wide Stout (2021) Kryza

This beer is stupid. For lack of a better description, this beer is basically Kirkland-brand Utopias. Which is by no means a bad thing!

All Day Vacay Kryza

Almost like Founders is trying to strike back at Bell’s Oberon. Excellent, crushable summer brew, but not quite on the level of Oberon.

Big Lushious Kryza

Pleasant nose, big chocolate flavor, and nice tartness from the raspberry hints. Excellent dessert beer, big fan.

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2018) Kryza

From the vault, aged about 3 years. Sweet, chocolaty, and wicked smokey following a huge nose. A Founders staple that gets better with age. No clue where we got it, but I’m glad it’s here.

Centennial IPA Kryza

Refreshingly floral IPA with and interesting malty twist on the swallow. Hops linger, but not for too long. Solid all around, and a good pregame to some Nova soccer and watching the big 3-6!

Unraveled IPA Kryza

Light, summery IPA with light hops. Doesn’t stick with you for too long. Goes down real smooth with a hint of hops. Definitely a beer for warmer weather, but very nice.
