Backwoods Bastard 2021 B.

Another good release from founders. Rich malty body with vanilla and caramel notes coming through. Nice bourbon barrel on the finish.

KBS Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa (2021) B.

Cinnamon and vanilla forward with chocolate more on the back end. A bit of barrel notes. It's not bad but the Cinnamon is a little too much, could be dialed a tad. Overall a solid BA stout but not blown away for a KBS

Velvet Rush B.

Smooth with lighter maltiness, milk chocolate and sweet notes. BA is subtle.

Nemesis (2021) B.

Well done barelywine. Rich caramel and molasses. A good amount of bitter hops but blends well.

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2018) B.

Another cellar beer, This 2018 KBS seems to have mellowed out and seems to be missing the chocolate flavors. Coffee is there a bit and the subtle bourbon.

Bottle Shop Series: Nemesis B.

Not what I would expect from a barleywine. More on the roast chocolate side for malts and more bitter hops than I like in this style.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) B.

Rich chocolate and maple. Well done in a way thats not too sweet.
