Combination of fruits, a nice funk and the ending in vanilla (but turns a bit to licorice). However, I was really not a fan of the near flat carbonation. It removed the "wow" factor of it.

Grapes are upfront and it slowly leads to the funky lambic finale. I really enjoyed it and it reminded me a lot of Burdock's beers.

Less sweet than recent ones, more acidic, slightly more vinegar, still a good dose of cherry! Glad I was able to try that !

Oude Geuze Boon à L'Ancienne - Vat 86 Mono Blend Mer
Good beer, a touch more funk than usual gueuzes. A bit sweet and less citrus also. One of the best Boon products I've drank so far.

Good funk taste. Touch of peach and orange. Medium carb. Well mixed tastes. Good gueuze!

Oude Geuze Boon Black Label Edition N°4 Mer
Funky, smooth acidity, touch of honey. Less citrus than most gueuzes. Good product, but not as good (in my opinion) than 3F ones.

This time I went for a bottle and I liked it a little better. Medium carbonation, soft orange taste, touch of the "lambic taste" if I can say. Good stuff, will definitely stick to bottles for my gueuzes.

Really smooth gueuze, hints of orange on the mouth. Of course the typical lambic taste as a base. Cheese ending. Pretty much no carbo. Great gueuze but I would have liked carbonation and a bit more complexity.
