Sweet, tart, and then some heat from spices and booziness. This is a sipper. Another stellar brew from Founders. I simply don’t think Founders can make a bad beer.

Light and hoppy. At just 4.8%, it is great for all day drinking and chilling….HEY WAIT A MINUTE!

The Headless Gourdsman Bird

This one is…sweet. Syrupy sweet. And boozy. Lots of flavors: cinnamon, vanilla, bourbon. At 13.1%, it was a bit much for me. But, it is an excellent take on the style.

Shelter Pale Ale Bird

This is good. Maltier than one might expect.

Very unique brew with the juniper notes. Very much a spring brew. Well done.

Cocoa in a big way. Hints of vanilla which translates to an almost coconut flavor to me. Coffee as well. There’s a lot going on, and it’s a good thing. This is my 1000th beer. Yep. 1000. Did I mention this one made 1000 for me?
