These were mediocre in 2014. It was odd but not a drain pour.

Sang Bleu (Camerise) Hennessey
Blue honeysuckle? Pretty rad display in this lambic. Looks like a Flanders red. Tart and floral. Super dry. Fun beer. Thanks, JP!

A little lower on phenolics than previous batches I've had. But, that's not a complaint

The water is too soft for the hops to pop. Kinda muddled and boring. Was expecting more from a continuously hopped Italian pilsner

It's basically a hoppy Busch Light. Nose was more impressive than I remember. Flavor is weak. But, what do ya want for under 100 calories? 🤷♂️

Tasty Traveler Lager Hennessey
This brewery has always been king of making average beer with weird ingredients. Great balance. Salty lime and refreshingly clean. Just wish they left the salt and lime out so I could taste the green corn.

90 Minute Imperial IPA Hennessey
Could use a little more hop character on the nose and a touch more bitterness. But, it's still a great beer with high drinkability. Only way I'll buy it is when it's on sale. Glad to see it hasn't gone hazy like so many other classics

Oof this is a shitty macro hazy. Tastes like orange TUMS. Why did the northeast have to ruin IPA? Glad it was on sale. Do not spend $16.50 on a 6pk of these unless you have acid reflux issues

90 Minute Imperial IPA Hennessey
I'll buy these every time they're on sale. So much better than 90% of the other shelf IPAs

Ultimate Oktoberfest Hennessey
I want to hate this. It tastes like someone poured vanilla vodka in a marzen. But the vanilla taste like cake icing. Anyway, another ridiculous "extreme" beer for no real reason other than they can.

Imperial Stout (2019) Hennessey
Definitely a cellar beer. Big dark chocolate and bourbon raisins. So drinkable with it's dry finish. Suck it lactose pastry stouts

Bottle Shop Series Highball Drifter Hennessey
I'm not big on these high abv barrel aged malt beverage kinda beers. But, for some reason this sounded good to me. It is everything it says it it besides a brown ale. Fruity with hints of bourbon and vanilla and a nice slap of orange oil. Quite enjoyable

5/21/20 cans. Pandemic panic bought the 15pk. They're drinkable. But straight wet hay at this point. I'm sure some will make it to the year point.

Backwoods Bastard (2020) Hennessey
Always a solid pick up. Tons of oxidized carrots. Not gonna wow ya, but consistent and at a great price point

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge Hennessey
I got a bit of vegetal on the nose from the coffee. Little light on the coffee character. Or it's hidden behind the great fudge flavor! Liquid fudge is all I get.

Meh. Roast hides the majority of the flavors they were trying to achieve. That dogfish yeast ester smacked me in the mouth upon first sip but faded. Not bad. Pissed I bought the 6er for 12.99

After you've drank your fill of Oktoberfests, it's time for wet hopped ales. Happy Fall, y'all. This is consistently a solid seasonal release. That slightly vegetal fresh green blends in with the grapefruity citrus and subtle medium malt body. Drink fresh

Solid 10.99 15pk for the season. Will be replacing Sierra Nevada this year
