What?? How?? Is this for real?? Wish I could do a side by side of a current blend. But apparently this is a 10 year old beer!!! Lost all boozeiness. Fairly flat. Very nice. Hard to appreciate how aged it is.

A lot of vanilla on the nose. And brown coffee flavor some bitter but that was just the first sip. Maybe it had to settle?? Too dark to see if it's got sediment at the bottom though. As a fan of founders. I'm glad choose this one today. No regrets.

Barry says a 2.75 like a mild sour. It’s the grapefruit peel. Whoever started putting fruit skin in food and beer should consider potato skin and beet skin and carrot skin. Get crafty dang it! I’m disappointed there’s not a celery beer yet. Veggies!!!

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge (2022)
Delightful dessert. Sweet. Smells like fresh brownies. I want more. This is a favorite. No beer smells better than this. A ghost knocked over my first pour.

Have I really never clocked this excellent beer? It’s a constant go-to!!! I’ve had some steadily in my fridge for maybe a year now. Today. I’m draft with a founders tap takeover at jacks! Happy to hit it!

Wow. A lot of cherry! Not tart at all. Sweet. Cherry is even stronger as it sits but still not what I would say is tart. But this is LOADED with flavor. Not boozy at 8. Nice. Fruity. Smooth. Of you like cherries you’ll love this sweet cherry pie!

First sip. Wow. Sweet and red velvet like. But really the bourbon takes over after that and I like it. I like that it's an aged porter rather than just another stout. This one is kinda going right to the head I can tell. I need food.

Repeating this record. But so badly wanting in the drawing for those bikes!!! Had there been a DFH brew I’ve not liked? I don’t think so. If I worked for a brewery in any way, I’d want it to retain the craft like DFH does. Respect!

Beer like food. Campfire food. I think this is missing some smoke though. But Graham and marshmallow and cocoa. It not overly sweet that feels like s’mores. But an enjoyable stout for sure. This is craft.

Founders equals good dark beers. Then they made super light “crushable” batches that I didn’t enjoy. this ipa is worthy of a repeat. I hope it doesn’t go away.
