Saint Lamvinus van der Meer

Lots of grape varieties, but I would prefer this to be a bit more fresh and sour. It's a fairly flat character that does remind me of wine a lot, but it's not something I particularly enjoy.

Fairly sweet and malty. There's some woodiness as well. As a whole, a bit of a mixed bag. Like the salty aftertaste and lime, don't like the slightly syrupy body or the aroma.

Beer Geek Flat White Kieni Coffee van der Meer

Always a fan of stouts infused with good coffee. This is some great coffee! It's a tad heavy on the lactose, but honestly it does give the beer a good body. All round good breakfast coffee stout. [ 4.1 ]

Fou' Foune van der Meer

👍🏻 Finally back in my favourite craft beer bar! 🍻 I didn't appreciate the massive amounts of apricot and the perfect balance of this lambic the last time I tried it. Wow! 👎🏻 Lambic is not one of my preferred styles, but this is one of the best!

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge (2020) van der Meer

👍🏻 Very heavy on the chocolate flavours, more so than I remember. Very much like a lava cake, very thick. 👎🏻Pretty heavy on the stomach. Took me a while to finish my glass.

Waking Up To Pomme Grenades van der Meer

Koffer Kerst Kalender #19 🎄 👍🏻 Loads of strawberry. Creamy and actually has a boozy kick to it, which I don't mind! 👎🏻 Just a little bit of pomegranate and hardly any lemon, though. The texture is a bit weird too, like melted ice cream.

👍🏻 licorice, marzipan and a hint of coconut in a thick stout 👎🏻 the coconut is only barely there, it's mostly sticky and sweet 🍺 not the most balanced imperial stout, but nice and thick [ 3.9 ]

👍🏻 full of raspberry and berries, nice milky texture 👎🏻 could use a bit more tang, slightly musty 🍺 a solid Berliner Weisse that's more tart than sour

👍🏻 free beer is always a plus! This is also a very crushable, citrusy NEIPA 👎🏻 it's very light, though. Would prefer a bit more punch. Also might be a tad old. 🍺 Very easygoing NEIPA, almost a session

Net wat té droog. Aroma is wel fantastisch, volop abrikoos!

Wel lekker funky, maar af en toe heb ik toch echt het idee dat ik Dreft weg zit te tanken. Veel hopburn ook, prikt echt op je tong. [ 4+ ]

Het was oktober 2019 toen ik dit te veel salmiak vond hebben. Het is bijna april 2021 en ik vind dat nog steeds. Dit is zo'n "gewoon niet mijn ding" bier, denk ik.

Erg lekker, vooral die fudge komt goed naar boven! Dit is wat mij betreft echt een KBS +1. [ 4,25+ ]

Marvelroast van der Meer

Lekker hoor! Maar weer zo'n stijlbreker die meer aan een white stout doet denken dan aan een golden ale. Veel vanille, veel koffie verkeerd en een flinke schep suiker om het af te maken.

Rosé de Gambrinus van der Meer

Weet toch echt niet wat het altijd met Cantillon is voor mij. Veel te droog, meestal. Smaak is goed hoor, maar altijd een droge bek en keel achteraf.
