Wake Up World Wide Stout (2022) Suds

Coffee cinnamon nose, strong coffee w/a touch of sweetness before an equally strong bourbon & bit of cinnamon & maybe a little vanilla. The balance is not there right now, but give it time & this will hit its place. 2 years from now, I’ll be back!

KBS Blueberry Suds

Berry nose, berry with a touch of coffee that builds more and gets more bitter as it goes. This is a nice change but not quite the same as the fudge. 4.1

Oak-Aged Vanilla World Wide Stout (2018) Suds

This has aged well, but should have sat another 2 years I think. Molasses to dark chocolate then some drying with the oak and the vanilla comes in as well with a touch of bitterness on the very ending. Enjoyed this more than last time I had 4.3.

KBS Espresso (2019) Suds

This was a good year but these are starting to lose the coffee flavor a little

KBS Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa (2021) Suds

Cocoa is there with the cinnamon but the vanilla is not really coming through. The coffee is really present along with a touch of the bourbon.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge (2020) Suds

Really chocolate filled when right out of the fridge. Slight maple flavor with a touch of the bourbon.

Underground Mountain Brown Suds

The barrel flavor with this brew is great with the flavor of the brown light and not heavy like most of the stouts that they make. Bourbon is still strong but there is some nice chocolate going on with this brew as well.

Frootwood (2022) Suds

The. Berry flavor is nice and then the maple comes in before the bourbon comes in. Light flavors overall.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge Suds

This is still drinking really well cold there is more fudge but as it warms, the coffee comes through much more. No doubt this is my favorite of the variants so far.

KBS Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa Suds

This is just ok. The cocoa is there with a hint of the vanilla. The bourbon and cinnamon are blending together for the ending. Wish this was better. Might make a good base for my next chili…

KBS Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa (2021) Suds

There is the coffee that hits right away but you also get the cinnamon & cocoa with a quick vanilla sweetness then bitter chocolate to bitter coffee and some lingering cinnamon to the end. This is ok but nothing spectacular.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge Suds

The chocolate flavor is real here. Good stuff.

Más Agave Grapefruit Suds

This was ok but needed more grapefruit. Didn’t get as much of the sour aspect as I wanted. Nice barrel profile here. Just a proportion issue.

Utopias Barrel-Aged World Wide Stout (2020) Suds

Raisin nose, raisin caramel to smooth vanilla with a touch of bitterness as it warms and some of the alcohol too. Cold this was smooth and went down easy. Really nice, Patrick C. Thanks!

Nice chocolate with this one and then you get the coffee from the base stout and the barrel comes in to tamp the sweetness.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2019) Suds

Chocolate coffee nose, chocolate with a hint of maple with smooth malt and then he coffee kicks in and lingers with the bitterness staying around. This is right at the end of its time if you want the maple to be present.

Underground Mountain Brown (2019) Suds

This is all about the barrel and the bitter coffee after the barrel passes. This one is. A good drinker right a bout now. The brown ale is there but enjoying the other parts more.
