Fou’ Foune (2022) Clayson

Should have maybe drunk this a bit sooner, but still amazing.

Manzanilla Clayson

A bit flatter than I would want. Some complexity and mild wine flavour.

Fou’ Foune (2022) Clayson

Yoplait/froob levels of apricot yoghurt. Right up there with the best lambics.

Couvreur Clayson

Super complex, wine, whisky, then lambic. Wish all the wine lambics had this complexity.

Vin Santo 2022 Clayson

Half way between a white wine and beer. Not enough going on for me, maybe needs more barrel character?

Signorina Clayson

Bit unidimensional, tannic red wine skins and that's about it.

Lambic Vin Jaune / La Vie es Belge Clayson

Big sherry/barrel note on the nose. Honey sweetness. Very good.

Zwanze 2022 - Poivre de Gorilles Clayson

Great pepper smell, flavour blends well with the base lambic. Ambitious and unique.

Drogone Lambic (2021) Clayson

Less strong red wine grape flavour than I remember in the 2020 version. Not as good as the previous. Still a nice drink, pricey (£50) for what it is though.

Zwanze 2021 - Parasol Clayson

Nice and citrusy aroma and flavour, lots of orange going on.

Nath (2020) Clayson

Softer than previous Nath. More rhubarb flavour. Maybe a better rhubarb crop this year?

Oude Geuze Boon Black Label Edition N°5 Clayson

Not good. Some traits of baby sick in there, lots of chunks in the glass, despite resting beforehand and a good single pour.

Saint Lamvinus (2019) Clayson

Sweeter than usual lambics, like a mildly tart grape juice. Dark red/purple. Very fruity and juicy.

Gueuze 100% Lambic Bio (2019) Clayson

Funky, dirty tasting with some citrus. Good clarity and carb. Pleasant overall but not my favourite gueuze.

Fou' Foune (2020) Clayson

Super jammy, not enough yoghurt lactic flavour to give it the full five. Amazing as ever.

Drogone Lambic (2020) Clayson

Very fruity, lots of red wine character that gives me ribena type aromas. Lots of barrel character but not much funk.
