Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2017) Petit
Dry coffee grounds, pecan. Booze still shows through. Touch of cardboard, but nothing unreasonable. Still great for it's age!

Underripe apricot, puckering acidity. Not a ton of big juicy fruity complexity, but definitely notice it's there. The age has thinned it just a tad.

2020 edition. Wet wood, big time cognac barrel. So much sweet and candy white grape. Dry and earthy.

A little aggressive on the palate. Big hop bitterness. Sharp. Pine needle, resinous. A very big beer

Nesquik chocolate, full bodied. Acidic, minerality coffee character.

Elderflower soda. Bright, vibrant floral quality. Acetic, big barrel notes. Acid is well balanced, very rich and warming.

Wildly musty. Damp, wet twig, peeling dry wall, wet oak. So, so musty. Cherry pit, astringent dry quality. Mild acidity

Dry grapefruit, wet wood. Pine needle, tree bark. Honeydew melon when first opened. Bright hop characters really show through.

Absolutely tastes like fudge. Rich, chocolaty and heavy. Baker's chocolate bitterness, smooth and warming.
