5 years. Still rocks. Lost some fuzz, but coffee was still strong. Roasty, creamy, and light maple.

Kriek Boon (2016)

From Jan 2016, so nearly 6 years old. Well past it’s prime at this point. Could have been delicious. But at this point, mostly flat and syrupy. The hint of balsamic sour kept it from being a total flop.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2019)

Really good, but missing that big, rounded bass note a barrel-aged stout should have. Maple stands out. Good chocolate. Limited vanilla and roasted sweet malt.

Black

3 years in cellar. A very big beer. Hides the high ABV as far as sharpness. The added Auge bumps the sweetness past what bourbon barrels would have done. Chocolatey and rich. Downside is the long aftertaste is a very bitter malt bomb.

Solid Gold

Light abs easy drinking but with good flavor. An ideal light American beer for when you need several in a row.
