This holds up pretty well after four years. It still has a fantastic creamy body and a pleasant nutty flavor to it, even if the maple has faded.

KBS Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa (2021) Thurber

Honestly, there’s just way too much cinnamon going on here. It significantly overwhelms the other flavors.

Bottle Shop Series Highball Drifter Thurber

This thing tasted like barrel aged KoolAid. I get it wanted to be an old fashioned but there’s little to no bourbon and the cherry reminds me of KoolAid. No picture but it unfortunately did happen.

Olde School (2014) Thurber

When this Barleywine is fresh (or consumed within a few years of its bottling date) it has a potent boozy kick to it. The extra years of aging have smoothed out all the booze & now all I taste is the fig & date flavors, which makes this way too drinkable.

Utopias Barrel-Aged World Wide Stout (2020) Thurber

I haven’t been able to locate my original review but I remember my numeric rating. I actually forgot I had this and was looking for it the other night! We went through it quickly because it was a smaller bottle split two ways. Slightly boozy, darkly malty

Olde School (2012) Thurber

I remember enjoying this a lot the year it was released, and while that was probably too long ago to remember clearly, I think I liked it even better now. The fig/date/prune fruit flavors come through prominently and it’s got a great sweet boozy kick!
