As tropical as advertised. Loaded with pineapple, both chunks of the fruit and canned pineapple juice for cocktails. Hints of coconut, mango, and other tropics. Does come across a bit generic, like any other “tropical” IPA

Immediately identifiable as a Dogfish Head brew. Not as sour or as oaky as I’d have guessed, which allows more of the Belgian influence and malt profile to shine. Lots of dried cherry, some raisin and plum, brown sugar. Red wine barrel notes?

Legitimately good. Bursting with sour lemon purée, balanced with berry sweetness. Pleasantly tart; the salt coming through on the finish. Acidic. A surprising depth of flavor. Very refreshing. Hard to tell it’s non-alcoholic. A beach jawn nonetheless.

Classic Dogfish Head profile. Smooth, gentle citrus and floral notes. Silky texture thanks to the oat-splosion. Not much to distinguish this one from their other offerings other than it being NE style.

This is basically fruit juice, which I expect was intended. Light and sweet. Mildly tart. Predominant blood orange, then some white grape, peach, navel orange, maybe a little cherry limeade. More of a poolside sipper, but enjoyably enjoyable.

A year of aging hasn’t changed the flavor profile much, just made it even smoother. The coffee may be slightly more forward. Gentle bourbon notes to add vanilla and caramel on top of boatloads of chocolate syrup. Sharp, fresh espresso to add a bitter vein

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2019) M
Aged 1 year. Not much has changed, which isn’t a bad thing. A little hoppier up front. Bitterness is up front. Still silky, with decadently rich melted chocolate. Vanilla-bourbon cream, hints of maple sweetness. Coffee notes show up very late and linger.
