My Honningkage Is Bigger Than Yours BA Reserve Edition 2020
Brother brought this back from Denmark. Caramel raisins dark cherries, tempered by the woody bourbon barrel. Delicious. Probably at it’s prime. Also 16% ABV but tastes like 10% dangerous

Holy grail of lambics. Moderate tartness. Less apricot and peachy. a soft cloudy mouthfeel with a Relatively dry finish. Not sure if the aging process has dampened the fruitiness.

Ruby red in the pour, head fades fast. Main body of red grape, without the tannins, hint of spice and fennel. I can see prunes on the horizon but not very prominent. Smooth creamy mouthfeel on the finish

Blåbær Lambik (Blueberry Lambic)
2017/2018 bottle. Very clean cork, herbal vegetable notes, more black currant ribena than blue berry. Tartness has mellowed immensely. Woody dry finish.

Kept for about 1 year. Lots of chocolate on the nose. Hazelnut is faint but discernible. Not too sweet which is a plus. Roasty and medium bodied Amazingly smooth for the ABV. Like!

No photo. Rich cholatey goodness initially. Alcohol not prominent when cold but booziness dominated the palate when warm. Hint of vanilla on the finish.

Spontanquadrupelblueberry 2018
Having had the tripelBb on tap, I expected this to be a sour bomb. Boy was I surprised. Smell of crushed sweetened BB on the nose (think ribena) initially sweet then the tang of blue berries come in, moderately tart. Very juicy. Good

Coffee, hint of dark chocolate. Creamy. Quite strong for a session porter. Light- medium bodied

Fond memories of this from when I used to drink pints of it at druggists. Initially boozy, but becomes smooth after warming. Lots of roasty malts. Yum yum

Aged since 2014. I hear the blue berry has mellowed. This is a high rating given my history with fruit stouts. But aromas of licorice, hint of berry. Chocolate body, quite tasty, hint of the bourbon barrel. Finish slightly cough syrupy but not overwhelmin

Tart sour lots of blueberry. Horizontal tasting with the triple. Definitely not as potent but to it’s own merit, tasty and more crushable

Much darker and more tart than the double. Slight more complexity. Can taste more of the barrel in this one. Awesome

Poured golden amber. Nice funky aroma with hint of oak. Very subtle tasting notes of stone fruit grapes and fig. Dry mouthfeel towards the end. Became sweeter and more complex as it warmed. Thanks for bringing this in

Rich and decadent. Like any good pastry stout. Not boozy at all. More complex as it warmed like drinking melted chocolate cake
