Canadian Breakfast Stout 2019 Marcek

Someone said something about International Stout Day, so I figured I'd pop one of these 2019 vintage CBS bottles. Smooth, sweet, and boozy. Good sipper for the hockey game. GO BRUINS!!

Panther Cub (2021) Marcek

Sweet malt, roasty, great maple character. Vanilla is present but more in the background. Hard to pick up the bourbon barrel, would be interesting to taste an unaged variation. Lighter body than expected. Tasty stuff!

Raison D'Extra Marcek

Had this one aging for about a year. Deep copper w/ small tan head that is quickly gone. Nose is molasses, toffee, dark fruit. Brown sugar and raisins dominate palate with a boozy kick. High carb keeps the body pretty light.

Underground Mountain Brown (2020) Marcek

So happy to find some of this in CA. Nose is coffee, sweet malts, vanilla and bourbon. Palate is sweet, roasty, boozy and delicious. This is a keeper, almost on par with CBS.
