Breakfast Stout (2015) Ramirez

Still. Has a vibrant slightly bitter coffee quality. Not too bad. Easy drinking.

Oude Geuze Boon Ramirez

This leans into pickled territory. However, there is a spiciness and a light bitterness that's quite pleasing. Enjoyable.

Curmudgeon's Better Half Ramirez

Smells like an old ale... touch of molasses syrup. Medium sweet. Vibrant but light body. it's like boozy syrup. Not overly sweet. Medicinal quality to the finish.

Geuze Boon Sélection Ramirez

Perfectly serviceable. Tart and a little watery.‘s A little spicy and dry. Verges towards pickle juice. But it’s OK.

Fou' Foune (2020) Ramirez

Not a very strong aroma, but I do believe I can detect a dry delicate peach fuzz on the nose. Sour (a bit pickled) flavor with light touches of fruit.

Bruocsella 1900 Grand Cru Ramirez

Curious aroma from the bottle...a sweet bubblegum or cotton candy. Hard to characterize the aroma from the glass: cider, sweet, & funky. Flat & smooth. Farmhouse, funky, sharp light bitter finish. Unexpected.

Classic Gueuze (2018) Ramirez

Absolutely superb. Quintessential gueuze. Dry, grass, light/medium funk & barrel quality. Flavorful & vibrant, and yet it has a smooth quality to it. Really amazing. Bottled October 2, 2018.
