Not a fan of Founders but KBS is good and I wanted to try this variant. A tad too much of the roasty, bitter coffee flavor for me but I’m being picky because it’s still a good chocolate coffee stout.

Happy 5th Anniversary Hop Gardens! What a good sour/lambic should taste like. Sour but not too puckeringly sour. Not overly fruity. And no crazy adjuncts.

I normally don’t like fruits in stouts but this works. The cherry is barely noticeable, if at all. And it doesn’t have a fake, syrupy taste either. Nice chocolate and coffee flavors. Still disappointed with Founders though.

Nice chocolate, coffee, oaky flavors. A little too much of the alcohol taste but it is 15.3% and I’m being picky.

Never watched the show so I don’t get the reference. But it’s a good beer. Roasty, chocolate/coffee flavors. I’m glad the chili isn’t overpowering … it’s barely noticeable.

Free beer for office event. Slightly too sour but a good lambic.

The can label says that it’s made my Mikkeller San Diego, not the original one in Copenhagen. I never watched Game of Thrones, so I don’t get the reference. Clean, refreshing, yeasty, faint lemony witbier.

Utopias Barrel-Aged World Wide Stout (2020) S.
Significantly cheaper than having to buy a bottle of Utopias … but still an expensive bottle of beer. Nice boozy, roasty, oaky, barrel aged flavors. Not as thick of a stout as I was expecting … maybe because of the ABV

Disappointed with Founders for a few reasons but KBS is a solid stout … and this variant sounded interesting. I’m glad that the cinnamon isn’t giving it a spicy taste but it is still a tad too much cinnamon for me.

Got it for the badge. A little maltier than I remember .. based on the date on the bottom of the can, it’s only a month old. Nice hoppiness & clear.

Got it to work towards the special Dogfish Head badge. Nice hoppiness for a light session IPA.

Got it for the badge. Tad too citrusy, malty … not as good as I remembered.

Haven’t had it in a long time … only got it for the badge. Better than I remembered … light/refreshing and not too much of the pumpkin flavor. Last beer (and meal) before fasting for Yom Kippur 😪

Still disappointed with Founders regarding the allegations of racism & wrongful termination … and they sold out. A good barleywine though … roasty, malty, caramel sweet.

Haven’t had 90 minute in a long, long time. Did they change the recipe? Because it tastes more malty & less hoppy than I remembered. I don’t think it’s an old bottle because date on bottle says Nov 2021, which is the future. Got it for the badge.

Got it for the badge. Not as good as I remembered. Slightly light struck/skunky.

Technically a good beer ... just disappointing for Dogfish Head and for being a campfire s’mores milk stout. Not getting a lot of the creamy/lactose, s’mores flavors ... very faint if at all.

Disappointed that Dogfish Head sold out to Boston Beer even though they’re still craft. Normally not a fan of cream ales because they’re usually bland. But this is pretty good with all of the different flavors going on.

I’ve been trying to avoid Founders because of their scandal but this sounded interesting. A little too much of the raspberry but a lot better than the fruit variants of New Holland’s Dragon Milk because this doesn’t taste fake syrupy.

I’m still morally opposed to Founders but their regular KBS is good and this variant sounded interesting. Nice maple, roasty coffee fudge flavors.
