Kriek Mariage Parfait (2015) Jonker
Recently bought via a cellar clearance at the brewery. No direct comparisation but it seems somewhat flatter than a recent one. Sourness very subtle and most certainly like a perfect marriage (if the latter actually excists).

If you are into the real original sour fruited beers this is the closest to the original. Sourness is high but somehow exactly at the best, neither too much nor too little.

Oude Geuze Boon à l'Ancienne - VAT 31 Mono Blend Jonker
The sourness is quite a lot overtaken by a sort of harshness from the barrel. Defenitely not the standard version. Taste is personnal. If it is the best geuze in the world? You have to decide by yourself.

Beautiful balanced. Sourness mild and the cherries completing it. Excellent drink with the warm weather.

Nose rasberries. Both sourness and rasberries clearly apparent but well within limits.

Nose is cherries like the fruit itself. Taste well balanced with a refreshing sourness and the cherries.

The correct name is without the Classic which seems to be added outside Cantillon's knowledge. After that it is much what a geueze is supposed to be. Nose is sourness, taste is a well balanced nothing overly sour.

Single Barrel 6 Month Lambic Jonker
Clearly the taste has to and will develop. Very mild and sourness is rather low.

Oude Geuze Boon à l'Ancienne - VAT 92 Mono Blend Jonker
Well balanced in taste. Little sour left. Full in taste. The cask very much affected the whole.

Oude Geuze Boon à l'Ancienne - VAT 91 Mono Blend Jonker
Little nose. The distinct sourness is accompanied by a barrel taste giving it a subtle extra.
