Almost like a melted snickers. Not a lot of barrel character though.

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2020) Nak
An aroma full of barrel oak. Flavors of that barrel, dark chocolate, dark cherry and a bit of coffee. Medium minus body with a sticky but dry finish. Could’ve sworn that this was better in previous vintages.

Slight chocolate notes before being taken over by roasted espresso. Boozy and actually watery. Was hoping for something a bit closer to the original.

More coffee and less maple on this vintage. More bite and booziness, probably due to drinking this and not cellaring for a while.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2018) Nak
More sweetness vis chocolate and maple this year. Less coffee but more bitterness too. Easy drinking but prefer the 2017 vintage a bit more.
